Regards candidates holding school leaving certificate issued OUTSIDE the EU, OECD, EFTA, EEA, China or Ukraine.

Online format: July 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM (CEST) - available only for candidates permanently residing abroad (upon submission of a appropriate request).

 
Purpose of the Exam

In accordance with the applicable legal regulations the admission for foreigners to higher education, Gdańsk University of Technology organizes Mathematics Entrance Examination. The purpose of the exam is to verify the candidate's knowledge in the scope necessary to undertake studies in a specific field.

The exam assesses the candidate's preparation in mathematics at a level comparable to the Polish secondary school leaving exam (Matura). The exam result will be published on the eNauczanie platform on July 18 at 4:00 PM (CEST) and will be considered in the recruitment scoring formula.

 
Exam Description

1. The exam consistd of 15 tasks.

2. Each task on the exam is in the form of a multiple-choice test.

3. For each task from 1 to 10 you can get maximum 1 point; each task from 11 to 15 may be awarded maximim 2 points.

4. The exam duration is 60 minutes.

 
Exam Participation Rules

Candidate must arrive in-person or log for the exam on 16 July at 11:30 AM (CEST). Each candidate must present a valid identity document; failure to do so will result in disqualification from the exam. Candidate is required to solve the tasks independently, assistance from others, communication with others, or the use of unauthorized sources is prohibited. Any violation of the independence rules will treated as an attempt to cheat and will result in immediate disqualification from admission process.

 
Technical Requirements (for candidates taking the examination online)
  • the candidate must have a computer with working camera and a stable internet connection.
  • The camera must remain on throughout the exam and be positioned to allow verification of independent work. The camera must show the candidate's head, hands, and a sheet of paper for notes. The use of background effects or virtual background is not allowed.

  • the camera must remain on throughout the entire duration of the exam - failure to do so will result in the exam being interrupted and the candidate being excluded from participation.
  • a test connection will be conducted on July 15 at 12:00 PM (CEST) - candidates must join meeting at 11:30 AM (CEST).

 

Gdańsk University of Technology is NOT responsable for technical issues on the candidate's side, such as lack of internet access, equipment failure, power outages, or transmission discruptions.

SAMPLE TASKS will be available on the eNauczanie platform from 23 June to 14 July. Access to the eNauczanie platform will be provided to registered candidates via their individual account in the eRekrutacja system.
